Connect to Dropbox is Blackberry's solution that lets you use the popular online storage service Dropbox on your BlackBerry device.
With Connect to Dropbox, you can move and copy files and folders from Dropbox to your handset and back, as if you were using the official app (which isn't available for BlackBerry 10).
Just like the real thing
Thanks to Connect to Dropbox, the Dropbox storage service integrates seamlessly with your BlackBerry like an additional memory card so that you can upload and store files.
Its operation is very simple, though not very intuitive the first few times you use it: choose between 'Dropbox' or 'Device' from the menu on the left hand side, select the files to move from the menu on the right hand side, and go to the folder where you want to save the files.
After configuration, Connect to Dropbox indicates the used and available space on your account. Moreover, once you've logged on, you don't need to configure anything else. The only extra is choosing whether to use Dropbox through network data or limit the access to WiFi, very important if you want to avoid surprise bills at the end of the month!
Dropbox and BlackBerry are both famous for their efficiency, providing tools which are as simple as possible for handling any task instantly. In that sense, the symbiosis between Blackberry and Connect to Dropbox is very good, allowing you to work with files and folders in just a few steps.
Working with Connect to Dropbox may seem strange at first, but when you are familiar with the sidebar menus, you can manage your local files and your Dropbox files easily and comfortably.
Quick and transparent
At a performance level, Connect to Dropbox offers great results just as good as the official Dropbox tool, which is unfortunately not yet available for BlackBerry 10.
